If you wish to earn CEs for your conference participation, you can take an Exit Survey and a Quiz for each presentation. At that point, a separate CE certificate for 1.5 CEs will become visible and downloadable for the event. If you attend all of the presentations, and take all of the quizzes, you will earn 13.5 CEs.
You must pass the quiz at 80% or better. That means you must get 5 out of 6 of the quiz items correct. You can take each quiz as many times as necessary to pass.
For your information, and for the benefit of your licensing/certifying organization, the amount of CE per presentation is based on the following estimates:
- Reviewing the Abstract and Objectives -- 5 minutes
- Attending or viewing the presentation --- 1 hour
- Reviewing the video and/or slideshow (if available), because we have found that few people will be able to pass the quiz at the required level the first time --- 15 minutes
- Reviewing the Forum thread for a given presentation -- 10 minutes minimum
It is likely that you will spend more time on each presentation, especially if you post a question or reply on the Forum. Regardless, a record of your activity will be kept by Moodle in case you, or your re-licensing or re-certifying organization needs it. So keep in mind that you should make sure that you spend at least as much time on each presentation as we have estimated for the purposes of awarding CEs.
To access only your grade report, click on "My Courses" in the left margin, choose the "1stODRC," and then click on "Grades." Then you will see your quiz grades, and can print the page out for your records. If, by chance you also need a summary of activity on the Conference site (not including your time on Zoom), email us at email@example.com, and we will send you your logs.
